SuperCarers is not a care agency, as we do not provide, direct or manage care. Rather, we offer families the tools that will help them easily find and self-manage their care directly with their chosen professional carer.
Because of these distinctions, The Care Quality Commission (CQC) defines companies like SuperCarers as introductory agencies pursuant to the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
SuperCarers do not employ the carers that offer their services on the platform. As independent carers, they are able to choose and negotiate their terms, rates and choose their working hours and clients.
These differences allow us to charge lower fees compared to traditional agencies and the majority of what you pay goes directly to the carer. We believe passionately that carers deserve to be well paid by their clients for the work they do, and that the quality (and consistency) of care provided is greatly enhanced because of this.
