SuperCarers provides a technology platform which matches families with compassionate carers in their local community. As we are not a care agency, we do not provide, direct or manage your care. Rather, we provide the tools that will help you easily find and self-manage your care directly with your chosen caregiver.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) defines companies like SuperCarers as an introductory agency pursuant to the Health and Social Care Act 2008, because of these distinctions.
We do not employ the carers that offer their services on the platform. As independent carers they are able to choose and negotiate their terms, rates and choose their working hours and clients.
These differences allow us to charge lower fees compared to traditional agencies’ and the majority of what you pay goes directly to your carer. We believe passionately that carers deserve to be paid well by their clients for the work they do, and that the quality (and consistency) of care provided is greatly enhanced because of this.
