It is up to you and your carers to decide what break schedule will work best, and how they can be taken.
Typically live-in carers have 2 hours of breaks per day, although often these are accumulated and all taken in a single day. While many clients coordinate family visits to cover these breaks, others book shorter visits from a second carer to ensure professional support is on hand at all times.
