It’s time to celebrate our Carer of the Month!

Every month, we meet one of the super carers on our platform to celebrate their work and to know a bit more about them and why they care.

This month, we spent a lovely afternoon with Elena Bian, and we were touched by her kindness and dedication.

Find out more about Elena’s story in the video above, and be inspired by her commitment and good heart.

Why did you become a carer?

Elena moved to the UK from Romania six years ago, and she started working as a carer straight away. As long as she can remember, she’s always liked helping people, and assisting the elderly gives her incredible joy and satisfaction.

After having worked for a few agencies, three years ago she decided to join SuperCarers.

Tell us about one of your clients

Elena’s current client is a wonderful lady with an remarkable life story. Elena loves listening to her:

It’s a pleasure to be around her, to listed to her story. She is wonderful.

What do you like of the SuperCarers platform?

One of the things Elena likes the most about SuperCarers is the way they’re always very professional and helpful. Furthermore, the platform gives her extreme flexibility when it comes to choosing how much and when to work.

I can choose when to work, how much to work, and I can choose my jobs closer to my place

What makes you smile as a carer?

Elena loves when, at the end of her shift, her client tells her she can’t wait to see her again.

What would you say to someone thinking of becoming a carer?

If you want to make a difference in someone’s life, if you care about other people, then become a carer. Become a super carer.
